Environment and Sustainability Policy

BelfastIT is committed to environmental responsibility and sustainability. We recognize the importance of minimizing our environmental impact, conserving resources, and promoting sustainable practices. This policy reflects our dedication to conducting business in an environmentally conscious and socially responsible manner.

Purpose: The purpose of this Environmental and Sustainability Policy is to:

1. Clearly articulate our commitment to environmental responsibility and sustainability.
2. Define the principles and practices that guide our efforts to minimize our environmental impact.
3. Engage our employees, stakeholders, and the broader community in our sustainability initiatives.

Scope: This policy applies to all aspects of BelfastIT ‘s operations, including but not limited to:

• Energy and resource use
• Waste management
• Procurement and supply chain
• Transportation
• Social responsibility

Principles:

1. Compliance: We will comply with all applicable environmental laws, regulations, and standards.
2. Continuous Improvement: We are committed to regularly assessing our environmental impact and identifying opportunities for improvement.
3. Resource Conservation: We will strive to minimize resource consumption, reduce waste, and promote recycling and reuse.
4. Energy Efficiency: We will implement energy-efficient practices and invest in renewable energy sources wherever possible.
5. Sustainable Procurement: We will consider environmental and ethical factors in our procurement decisions and support suppliers with sustainable practices.

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. All employees are responsible for adhering to this policy and contributing to the organization’s sustainability goals.
2. Callum Carville (CEO / Environment officer) are responsible for implementing and monitoring the Environmental and Sustainability Policy.

Performance Measurement: We will establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure our progress in achieving sustainability goals. Regular assessments will be conducted, and results will be communicated to stakeholders.

Communication: This policy will be communicated to all employees, suppliers, and stakeholders. We will strive for transparency in our environmental practices and share our progress toward sustainability goals with the community.

Review: This Environmental and Sustainability Policy will be reviewed annually or as needed to ensure its continued effectiveness, relevance, and alignment with our organizational goals.

Approval: This Environmental and Sustainability Policy has been approved by Callum Carville CEO on 14/11/2022.
