Full Job Description
As a BelfastIT PHP developer you will be directly responsible for developing API’s and working with clients to help produce effective web based solutions.
Hours: This is a full-time role 37.5hrs
Location: The role is fully remote with once a month meet ups to touch base.
Responsibilities:
- * To be responsible for the development of internal and external customer-driven applications, including CMS configuration and development of business logic handling, back-end database integration and a wide variety of API integrations.
- * You should be able to demonstrate an ability to model data and workflows to fit the business requirements in order to design a solution that will deliver on the objectives. You may be expected to work with databases using Raw MySQL, WordPress Query Builder and an ORM such as Doctrine or Illuminate this is true as much of WordPress.
- * Business logic and output are separated using templates, so while we use Twig on a daily basis, a familiarity with at least once template language would be beneficial.
- * WordPress development in Zesty is not simply a “Plugin & Configure” role, you should show capability in delivering using an MVC approach regardless of the underlying platform and be able to demonstrate and ability to code websites and/or plugins from scratch, while adhering to coding standards.
Essential Criteria:
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Related Technology Degree – 1st
- Placement year or Commercial experience
- Experience with Java, JavaScript, PHP, or .NET
